Top 3 Playoff Positions Decided; Bandits Keep Rolling

Week Eight of the EFA is in the books the top three seeds in the upcoming playoffs have locked themselves in.

First, the first-place Bandits blitzed through the Mountaineers, 41-14, at home this week, bringing them to 5-0 and controlling their own destiny for the top seed in the league come playoff time. They face off against the Demon Knights, Gravediggerz, and Mountaineers again to finish their season..

Taking over full control of second place are the Gravediggerz, who are 5-1 now after a 24-0 win over the New York Dolphins, who with the loss dipped to 5-2. The Gravediggerz control their playoff and seeding destiny now and still have a shot at first place if they win out, with that game against the Bandits being key.

The Dolphins, at 5-2, have only one game remaining, against the Mountaineers, whom they have already defeated. They are the the third team to have a guaranteed playoff spot and are locked into the No. 3 spot win or lose..

The battle for fourth place for now belongs to the Demon Knights, who improved to 2-4 with a forfeit win over the Legion. That puts them one full game ahed of the Mountaineers, who fell to 1-5. The only way for the Mountaineers to finish fourth is with wins against the Dolphins next week and another against the top seeded Bandits, coupled with an ESDK loss to the Bandits next week.
